Role Overview:

As a vital member of the Employee Benefits team, the Account Executive will support Producers with new business initiatives and renewals, while also providing comprehensive client assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Producer by collecting information on new and existing accounts, subsequently submitting it to carriers or technical teams for proposal generation.
  • Evaluates carrier proposals, advises the Producer, and prepares formal presentation materials.
  • Represents clients during presentations in the absence of the Producer.
  • Facilitates workflow among internal personnel, clients, and insurance carriers.
  • Implements requested coverage modifications for clients.
  • Ensures seamless transitions between insurance providers.
  • Conducts regular service calls on all accounts and provides reports on them.
  • Updates account details in the management system for carrier modifications or renewals.
  • Remains informed about carrier updates and relevant regulations, sharing insights with clients and team members.
  • Fosters and maintains positive relationships with insurance carriers to fulfill client requirements and enhance business processes.
  • Addresses or refers all client inquiries as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Life and Health insurance license is mandatory.
  • Understanding of insurance products, rating processes, coverage, and industry practices.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer applications: word processing, spreadsheets, and email. Familiarity with the Epic agency management system is advantageous.
