Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or a related field - 150 credit hours preferred.
  • Aspiring to obtain CPA certification and pursue a career in public accounting.
Technical Skills
  • Capable of preparing basic individual tax returns.
  • Recognizes the significance of accuracy and efficiency in tax return preparation and assigned tasks.
  • Familiar with Fixed Asset Solutions, Advance Flow, and ACS.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency in achieving objectives.
  • Proficient in preparing various entity tax returns (1120S, 1040, 1065).
  • Experience in conducting tax research assignments.
  • Identifies one or two areas of interest within the industry for tax specialization.
  • Ability to lead team members and complete tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Understanding of basic financial statements.
  • Ability to reconcile trial balances with source documents.
  • Capable of creating depreciation schedules and understanding depreciable lives and methods.
  • Knowledge of required payroll tax return filings, including 941, 940, W-2, and 1099s.
  • Ability to reconcile payroll liabilities and prepare payroll tax return filings.
  • Competent in reconciling simple bank statements.
  • Basic understanding of QuickBooks (importing, exporting, data entry, report preparation).

  • Communicate knowledgeably about the firm's mission and services.
  • Strive to generate additional revenue for Yeo & Yeo and its affiliates through business development efforts.
  • Maintain a Business Development Activity kit according to experience level.
