Position Overview:

The Director of Business Analytics & Innovation will spearhead the formulation of business analytics, digital intelligence, technology, and innovation strategies within the organization. This role entails defining and executing strategic initiatives, overseeing programs and projects, managing a team of Business Analysts, and enhancing overall business performance by pinpointing strategic, technological, and efficiency opportunities.

Reports to: General Manager

Status: Full-Time, Salary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, adhere to, and actively promote all corporate safety protocols, ensuring compliance with our foremost core value – Safety in all operations.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business intelligence framework across the organization.
  • Oversee the creation and deployment of data analytics tools and platforms.
  • Lead the analytics team to guarantee precise and timely delivery of business insights, facilitating strategic decision-making, enhancing operational efficiency, and uncovering new opportunities.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy and quality.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data analytics.
  • Formulate and execute a technology and innovation strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives.
  • Monitor and assess industry trends, team member and client feedback, and conduct research and development to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Promote the adoption of new technologies, methodologies, and processes to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify business needs and drive continuous improvement in metrics tracking, information management, business processes, and organizational planning.
  • Report on business analytics and innovation activities, progress, and return on investment to the General Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by corporate needs.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles focused on business analytics and innovation, managing projects, delivering solutions, and implementing technology initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in statistical analysis, data mining techniques, predictive modeling, and business forecasting.
  • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization.
  • Hands-on experience with various technologies (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI) and a readiness to engage with technical details as necessary.
  • Advanced degree in computer science, data management, finance, statistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
