Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team at Centurum. Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and drive revenue growth.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and teaming partners, to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with the Corporate Proposal Development Team to develop and submit high-quality proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular updates and analysis to Senior Management on business development activities, pipeline metrics, and sales performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and teaming partners.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to achieve a high-level security clearance, with a preference for active TS+ clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the defense industry, with a focus on C5ISR, NAVWAR, PEO C4I, NIWC Pacific and Atlantic, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, and U.S. Naval Shipyards.
  • Business Development Tools: Proficiency in business development tools, including CRM software, proposal development tools, and market research software.
