Business Development Director

BAE Systems' Intelligence & Security Sector is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to support the Modeling and Simulation Solutions business area. As a key member of the Business Winning organization, you will be responsible for identifying, shaping, and pursuing new business opportunities that address national security concerns.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain customer relationships across key markets
- Develop and evaluate competitive assessments for potential targeted pursuits
- Develop growth strategies and prioritize new business opportunities
- Leverage current technologies and customer relationships to identify and qualify quality opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for the pursuit and capture of key opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience, including at least 6 years in a business development role
- Demonstrated background in solution selling and developing new markets
- Ability to identify and establish customer relationships with senior-level officials and program stakeholders
- Relevant knowledge or experience working with DoD on modeling and simulation-focused systems integration
BAE Systems offers a competitive salary range of $250,400, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, and employee assistance programs.
