Job Title: Business Development Director

BAE Systems' Intelligence & Security Sector is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to support the Modeling and Simulation Solutions business area. As a key member of the Business Winning organization, you will be responsible for identifying, shaping, and pursuing new business opportunities that address national security concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships across key markets
  • Develop and evaluate competitive assessments for potential targeted pursuits
  • Develop growth strategies and prioritize new business opportunities
  • Leverage current technologies and customer relationships to identify and qualify quality opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for the pursuit and capture of key opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline
  • Minimum 12 years of professional experience, including at least 6 years in a business development role
  • Demonstrated background in solution selling and developing new markets
  • Ability to identify and establish customer relationships with senior-level officials and program stakeholders
  • Relevant knowledge or experience working with DoD on modeling and simulation-focused systems integration
