Overview:
eTeam is seeking a qualified candidate for a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist role within our Cash Flow FP&A team.
This team is responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning and analytical support, assisting management in strategic cash management initiatives.
The Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist will play a vital role within the FP&A team, reporting directly to the Associate Director of Enterprise FP&A.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of the consolidated quarterly Legal Entity Forecast (LEF) to ensure the profitability of various entities in alignment with internal agreements and optimize the Long Term Effective Tax Rate (ETR).
- Support the integration of one-time transactions into current and future LEF models, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Accounting to stay informed about events impacting LEF models.
- Collaborate with IT partners to enhance accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in financial systems.
- Extract data from financial systems to analyze trends and performance from a legal entity profitability perspective.
- Assist in the annual cash flow forecast for the current and upcoming years as necessary.
- Prepare monthly reports focusing on discounts and rebates, monitor performance against forecasts, investigate variances, and initiate corrective actions.
- Work with FP&A, Accounting, Inventory, and Treasury to ensure consistency in Balance Sheet results.
- Conduct ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related corporate finance role.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and PowerPoint modeling, with experience in financial accounting, planning, and reporting systems.
- Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively across functions in a matrix environment.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a proactive approach.
- Strong internal client service mindset and project management skills, with the ability to escalate issues timely and maintain quality control.
- Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with a strong desire to positively impact business performance.
- Ability to work in an office environment, using a computer and engaging in communication through various channels.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Anaplan, Qlik, SAP, and Hyperion.
- Capability to design and implement systems and data structures for automating reporting and analysis solutions.
