Job Title: Regional Business Development Director

Willdan is seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to lead our efforts in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Region. This role requires a commitment to delivering creative facility and energy solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of the team's sales and marketing plans and strategies.
  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the region, focusing on selling performance contracting and maximizing long-term profit levels.
  • Manage a team of Business Development Managers and provide guidance and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver high-level presentations and proposals to secure major opportunities.
  • Utilize sales tools and technology to plan and document progress, and increase business opportunities in accounts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years of progressive field sales experience at the C-level, with a focus on public and private sector energy sales.
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence the market at key levels.
  • Demonstrated financial and business acumen, with the ability to develop credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment with clients and stakeholders.
