Business Development Director

Luminary Group, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to drive the adoption of Real World Evidence (RWE) solutions across the USA. As a key member of our client-facing team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to promote the adoption of our RWE solutions in the USA.
- Identify and target potential clients within the pharmaceutical industry, payers, healthcare providers, and other relevant organizations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and aligning our offerings to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand our brand presence and generate leads.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Real World Evidence (RWE) and its applications in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical devices.
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets.
- Strong network of contacts within the pharmaceutical industry, payers, healthcare providers, and other relevant organizations.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and propose innovative solutions.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Authorization to work in the USA.
