About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Director to lead our new business efforts for Cheil NY.

As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving, strategizing, and overseeing efforts to acquire new business opportunities, extending beyond existing clients and encompassing agency marketing initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include developing an annual plan for prospecting and new business building efforts, owning strategic and day-to-day management of all new business projects, managing research of new business prospect brands and clients, and working collaboratively across the affiliate network to drive opportunities with multiple agencies.

You will also be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on actual business development performance against plan, being a key part of the presentation team at new client meetings, conceptualizing and developing new business marketing materials and related collateral, managing and growing the new business contact database, and maintaining knowledge of talent and core capabilities within the agency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, and other communications fields preferred.
  • 10+ years' business development experience in a digital or integrated communications agency environment with a focus on creative, strategy & media.
  • A proven track record for new revenue and new business opportunities.
  • Must bring existing potential client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high energy and vibrancy.
  • Proven ability to analyze, develop, sell-in, and manage business strategies, plans and business cases.
  • Strong presentation and senior client-facing skills.
  • Extreme sensitivity to and respect for working in confidentiality.

We offer a competitive salary range of $$ per annum, plus incentives. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors, including location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education, and/or certifications.
