Your Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance
  2. 8-10 years of experience in the fashion, sportswear, or casual sports lifestyle industry, particularly in apparel and footwear
  3. Extensive knowledge in collaborative projects
  4. Team-oriented mindset: adaptable, open-minded, and solution-focused
  5. In-depth understanding of streetwear and fashion consumer demands; familiarity with lifestyle markets and high fashion trends; ability to translate these trends into actionable product briefs
  6. Proficient presenter to both internal and external stakeholders, including key accounts and senior leadership; adept at addressing objections and delivering persuasive messages
  7. Consistently demonstrates effective communication with professionalism and discretion
  8. Manages daily responsibilities, seasonal timelines, and priorities with minimal supervision; capable of anticipating and resolving potential challenges while providing real-time solutions
  9. Exhibits ownership and accountability; acts decisively with a results-oriented approach, demonstrating leadership within the team
  10. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  11. The salary range for this role is $99,200 - $163,700, plus bonuses and benefits. Compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Your Responsibilities

As the Head of Product Line Management for Sportstyle within the Ambassador Team based in the Puma Studio LA, you will lead and manage the ambassador product management team. Your role will involve overseeing the strategy, development, and execution of products across footwear, apparel, and accessories in collaboration with our Puma Ambassadors, aligned with the overall business strategy. This position is pivotal in driving a visionary and brand-relevant product creation process that not only pushes boundaries but also meets business and partner objectives.

  1. Formulate the ambassador product strategy in collaboration with the Director of Business Development, incorporating insights from relevant stakeholders within the brand (Sportstyle business unit, Marketing, Go To Market)
  2. Facilitate alignment of the ambassador team with stakeholders across various Business Units and categories to create new footwear, apparel, and accessories product concepts that realize the Ambassadors' visions through the Puma lens, balancing that vision with business needs
  3. Ensure product plans meet business KPIs
  4. Oversee and manage the product creation process from concept to production in partnership with Design and Development to ensure adherence to product calendars and GTM milestones
  5. Proactively identify potential roadblocks and collaborate with Design and Development teams to maintain a smooth product calendar
  6. Establish and nurture strong working relationships across functions, including design, product management, and marketing
  7. Facilitate alignment across footwear, apparel, and accessories
  8. Ensure timely communication flow with both external and internal partners for product feedback and approvals
  9. Represent PUMA with confidence and professionalism in all interactions
  10. Collaborate with suppliers and factory teams to identify and develop new product opportunities
  11. Responsible for the accurate maintenance of all product documentation and reporting systems throughout the product lifecycle (GTM documents, product management systems, etc.)
