Your Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance
  2. 8-10 years of experience in the fashion, sportswear, or casual sports lifestyle industry, particularly in apparel and footwear
  3. Extensive knowledge in collaborative projects
  4. Team-oriented mindset: adaptable, open-minded, and solution-focused
  5. In-depth understanding of streetwear and fashion consumer preferences; familiarity with lifestyle markets and high fashion trends; ability to translate these trends into relevant product briefs
  6. Skilled presenter to various audiences, including key accounts and senior leadership; adept at managing objections and delivering persuasive messages while navigating internal relationships
  7. Consistently communicates with professionalism and discretion
  8. Manages daily tasks and seasonal timelines effectively, requiring minimal supervision; anticipates and resolves potential challenges while providing real-time solutions
  9. Demonstrates ownership and accountability; acts decisively with a results-oriented approach, showcasing leadership within the team
  10. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  11. The salary range for this position is $99,200 - $163,700, plus bonuses and benefits, subject to variation based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Your Responsibilities

As the Head of Product Line Management for Sportstyle within the Ambassador Team at PUMA Studio LA, you will lead and manage the ambassador product management team. Your responsibilities include overseeing the strategy, development, and execution of products across footwear, apparel, and accessories in collaboration with our Puma Ambassadors, aligning with the overall business plan. Your role is vital in driving a visionary and brand-relevant product creation process that meets both business and partner objectives.

  1. Develop the ambassador product strategy in collaboration with the Director of Business Development, incorporating input from relevant stakeholders within the brand.
  2. Align the ambassador team with stakeholders across various Business Units and categories to create new product concepts that reflect the Ambassadors' visions while balancing business requirements.
  3. Ensure product plans meet business KPIs.
  4. Oversee the product creation process from brief to production in collaboration with Design and Development to meet product calendar and GTM milestones.
  5. Anticipate challenges and devise solutions with Design and Development teams throughout the product calendar.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships across functions, including design, product management, and marketing.
  7. Facilitate alignment across footwear, apparel, and accessories.
  8. Ensure timely communication with external and internal partners for product feedback and approvals.
  9. Represent PUMA with confidence and professionalism in all interactions.
  10. Collaborate with suppliers and factory teams to identify and develop new product opportunities.
  11. Maintain accurate product documentation and reporting systems throughout the product lifecycle.
