Your Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance
- 8-10 years of experience in the fashion, sportswear, or casual sports lifestyle sectors, particularly in apparel and footwear
- Extensive knowledge of collaborative product development
- Team-oriented mindset: adaptable, open-minded, and solution-focused
- In-depth understanding of streetwear and fashion consumer trends; ability to translate insights into actionable product briefs
- Proficient in presenting to diverse audiences, including key accounts and senior leadership, while effectively managing objections
- Demonstrates professional maturity and discretion in communication
- Self-starter with the ability to manage daily tasks and seasonal timelines independently; adept at anticipating challenges and devising real-time solutions
- Exhibits accountability and leadership within the team
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Compensation range for this role is $99,200 - $163,700, plus bonus and benefits, with variations based on experience and qualifications.
As the Head of Product Line Management for Sportstyle, you will lead the ambassador product management team, overseeing the strategy, development, and execution of product lines across footwear, apparel, and accessories. Your leadership will be vital in fostering a creative and brand-aligned product development process that meets both business objectives and partner expectations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Business Development to formulate the ambassador product strategy, integrating feedback from key stakeholders across the brand.
- Align the ambassador team with various Business Units to develop innovative product concepts that reflect the ambassadors' visions while meeting business needs.
- Ensure product initiatives align with business KPIs.
- Manage the product creation process from concept to production, working closely with Design and Development to meet product timelines.
- Proactively identify potential obstacles and collaborate with Design and Development to implement solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships across functions, including design, product management, and marketing.
- Facilitate collaboration among footwear, apparel, and accessories teams.
- Ensure timely communication with internal and external partners for product feedback and approvals.
- Represent PUMA with professionalism and confidence in all interactions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to explore new product opportunities.
- Maintain accurate product documentation and reporting systems throughout the product lifecycle.
