Role Summary

As a Technical Lead in Marketing Automation, you will play a pivotal role in delivering technical consulting services to various stakeholders, including Marketing, Technology, and Operations teams. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development of solutions that facilitate automated, data-driven campaigns across multiple channels. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of marketing technology to provide strategic guidance on best practices for campaign design, ensuring alignment with desired business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct technical delivery teams in the comprehensive implementation of marketing automation initiatives.
  • Develop and document technical requirements and solution design specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with senior business and technical stakeholders throughout project phases.
  • Conduct workshops to define and gather technical requirements for proposed solutions.
  • Facilitate communication among marketing and technical teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical solutions.
  • Prioritize tasks based on critical business outcomes, employing agile methodologies to meet marketing demands.
  • Analyze client data and existing campaigns to design effective solutions and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to provide relevant recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • At least 6 years of experience in data-driven marketing automation using platforms such as Unica, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or Braze.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and operationalizing marketing automation capabilities within large organizations.
  • Experience in multi-platform environments requiring data orchestration across various systems to enable marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with database integrations, both on-premise (e.g., Teradata, Oracle) and cloud-based (e.g., GCP, AWS).
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
  • Experience in implementing reporting solutions and BI dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of data engineering solutions using various integration technologies, including file-based and API integrations.
  • Experience with both batch and real-time marketing solutions utilizing offline and online data.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP is advantageous.
  • Strong systems and business analysis skills, including the ability to deliver high-quality technical specifications and process documentation.
  • Consulting skills with a focus on stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
  • A proven track record of managing multiple key projects or consultative engagements successfully.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering business outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
