Role Summary

As a Technical Lead in Marketing Automation, you will play a pivotal role in offering technical consulting services to various stakeholders, including Marketing, Technology, and Operations teams. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development of solutions that facilitate automated, data-driven multi-channel campaigns. You will provide expert guidance on best practices for campaign design, leveraging your comprehensive understanding of marketing technology capabilities and desired business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct technical delivery teams in the comprehensive implementation of marketing automation initiatives.
  • Develop technical requirements and corresponding solution design documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with senior business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct workshops to define and gather technical requirements for effective solutions.
  • Manage communications between marketing and technical teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical solutions.
  • Prioritize tasks based on critical business outcomes and adapt to agile methodologies to meet marketing demands.
  • Analyze client data and current campaigns to design innovative solutions and identify opportunities for enhancing campaign effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovations to provide relevant recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • At least 6 years of experience in data-driven marketing automation using platforms such as Unica, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Braze, etc.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and operationalizing marketing automation capabilities within large organizations.
  • Experience in multi-platform environments requiring data orchestration across various systems to enable marketing campaigns.
  • Familiarity with integrations into diverse database systems, both on-premise and cloud-based.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
  • Experience in implementing reporting solutions and BI dashboards such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of data engineering solutions utilizing various integration technologies.
  • Experience with both batch and real-time marketing solutions leveraging offline and online data.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP is advantageous.
  • Strong systems and business analysis skills, including the delivery of high-quality technical specifications.
  • Consulting expertise, with a focus on stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams.
  • A proven track record of managing multiple key projects successfully.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
