Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and manage the project timeline, detailing the necessary activities and resources while assessing the critical path.
  • Monitor and compare the actual progress against the planned objectives across various engineering and construction sectors.
  • Develop and assess resource allocations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee, manage, and report on project expenditures, including budget versus actual costs during the engineering and execution phases, providing valuable insights to the project team.
  • Lead initiatives to identify solutions and implement corrective actions in cases of project delays or budget overruns.
  • Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to analyze and assess project risks.
  • Engage in the preparation and validation of project cost estimates.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team, procurement, and accounting to ensure precise forecasting and documentation of project costs.
  • Support ongoing enhancements in project management, scheduling, and cost estimation methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in capital project execution with a solid grasp of project management principles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a preference for experience in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in schedule development and progress monitoring, including Critical Path Method and Earned Value Management.
  • Familiarity with ERP software (preferably SAP), scheduling tools (such as MS Project or Primavera P6), and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in project risk and change management is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% based on project requirements.
