Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial loans while fostering strong, low-risk client relationships and ensuring high-quality customer service.
  • Act as the primary account and relationship manager for both new and existing clients.
  • Identify, generate, and follow up on new client leads through current clients and referrals from other departments.
  • Engage with existing clients to review their portfolios and provide recommendations as necessary. Oversee sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviews, and astute character assessments. Monitor credit performance diligently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships that result in high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-sell additional bank products as appropriate.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial lending, credit, underwriting, or a closely related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending processes, and loan closing procedures.
  • Proven ability to expand commercial loans, develop client relationships, and effectively cross-sell bank products.
  • Strong experience in client interviewing and sound character judgment skills.
  • Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Manage a small to medium-sized commercial portfolio.

Salary Range: Competitive based on location and experience.
