Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Relationship Manager to oversee and enhance a portfolio of commercial loans. This role is focused on building and nurturing business relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring the satisfaction of our existing clients. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for promoting suitable banking products and services, leveraging the full capabilities of One U.S. Bank, and making valuable referrals. Additionally, this position involves providing expert financial guidance to clients, approving loans within designated limits, and maintaining the quality of the loan portfolio.

Essential Qualifications
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial lending

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in managing a diverse and complex commercial loan portfolio
  • Strong leadership capabilities and strategic management acumen
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities

This position presents an exciting opportunity for a proactive Senior Banker to join U.S. Bank's Denver Commercial Banking Team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in business development within the commercial and industrial sectors, along with the expertise to manage and expand a substantial commercial loan portfolio. The candidate should be adept at advising clients on a range of commercial banking products and services, recognizing cross-selling opportunities, and making appropriate referrals. A thorough understanding of the commercial banking loan approval process and the ability to manage portfolio credit quality effectively are essential.
