About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Relationship Manager to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve revenue growth and expand our commercial banking relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your network and industry expertise to drive growth and expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including credit, risk, and operations teams, to ensure seamless delivery of commercial banking services.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' businesses, industries, and financial needs, using this knowledge to identify cross-selling opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns, promoting our commercial banking services to key clients and prospects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to the development of our commercial banking strategy, providing input and insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial banking, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial clients, driving revenue growth, and expanding business opportunities.
  • Deep knowledge of commercial banking products and services, including credit, cash management, and treasury services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop creative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of commercial banking trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
