The Enterprise Sales Team

The Enterprise Sales team at Airwallex is a high-performing and collaborative group of innovators focused on delivering cutting-edge payments and financial solutions to large global businesses. We value strategic thinking, prioritizing our customers, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by multinational organizations.

What You'll Do

The Account Executive, Enterprise role is a key sales position at Airwallex. As an Enterprise AE, you will be focused on selling our API-based Payouts, Issuing, FX & Payment products to customers across various industries, including Software as a Service (SaaS), travel, lending, and fintech.

This role is based in San Francisco or New York City. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acquiring new enterprise customers across North America through your existing network and experience
  • Driving the entire deal cycle from prospecting to close for both new logos and customer expansions
  • Identifying new companies, use cases, and prospects through research with the help of our strategy and sales enablement team
  • Working collaboratively with people at all levels and across functions and cultures
  • Providing regular reporting against KPIs, metrics, and targets
  • Ensuring the best customer experience and onboarding process for new customers
  • Negotiating partnership agreements and commercial contracts in conjunction with legal, finance, and strategy teams
  • Building and managing a strong, reliable pipeline, as well as helping define best practices for the US sales team
Who We're Looking For

We're seeking individuals who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience selling complex technology products to enterprise accounts
  • A broad existing network of key decision-makers for payments solutions at our target prospects, such as major eCommerce, online travel, digital content, and similar network/platform businesses
  • A technical mindset, with prior experience in selling complex, API-driven solutions and a willingness to learn new products
  • Excellent analytical skills, an organized way of working, and strong communication and solution-selling skills
  • Success-oriented and accountable for delivering key outcomes, including KPIs and revenue targets
  • Motivated by the mission of Airwallex and making it a reality in the US market
  • Willing to travel as required

Preferred qualifications:

  • A top-performing sales professional with a proven track record of new business solution selling, ideally within payments, issuing, FX, or embedded finance/Banking as a Service solutions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to operate independently to close deals
