Job Description

**Job Summary**

Brandywine Realty Trust is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Support Specialist to join our Legal Department. This role involves providing administrative support to our legal team, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of real estate transaction documents, including contracts and agreements.
  • Prepare and file formation documents, licenses, and other corporate records.
  • Support the General Counsel in managing and tracking corporate compliance matters, including regulatory filings and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of corporate and transactional documents.
  • Provide administrative support to the General Counsel, including preparing reports and responding to routine requests for information.
  • Organize and maintain the legal filing and matter system, ensuring timely and accurate filing of documents.
  • Process legal invoices and route mail and legal notices to the appropriate parties.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, with a focus on real estate and corporate law.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Notary public certification or eligibility to become a notary public.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
  • Proven track record of learning quickly and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Competencies:

  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal documents.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
