Marks, O'Neill, O'Brien, Doherty & Kelly, P.C. is in search of a dedicated E-Billing Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time role that offers a competitive compensation package along with comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will engage regularly with management, attorneys, and various support personnel, as well as firm clients. This role entails the preparation and modification of monthly invoices for submission to client electronic billing systems, including but not limited to Allegient Legal, Legal Exchange, LSS, Counsel Link, Acuity, Tymetrix, Passport, and Stuart Maue. The ideal applicant should possess a thorough understanding and proficiency in all aspects of the electronic billing process.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of practical billing experience within a legal firm setting, with significant exposure to various electronic billing platforms.
  • Experience handling asbestos-related clients, including split billing and other intricate billing structures, is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative spirit to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with Legal Insight software is a plus.
  • Proficient technology skills, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A strong numerical aptitude.
  • Ability to engage professionally with attorneys, administrative staff, and clients.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive follow-up on outstanding items with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to client-specific billing guidelines and technological changes.
