Position Overview

The Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner is essential for our organization, requiring proficiency in either Spanish or Mandarin alongside fluent English communication skills. This role is strictly on-site.

Role Summary

The HR Business Partner in the Supply Chain division is tasked with aligning organizational goals with employee and management needs within specific business units. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is mandatory, and this position does not offer hybrid work options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and monitor HR-related KPIs, particularly those relevant to Supply Chain.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Leadership team to enhance the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
  • Administer employee engagement surveys and partner with staff and leaders to create actionable initiatives.
  • Formulate strategies to maintain a union-free environment.
  • Work with the Zone HR team on talent acquisition and retention for all Supply Chain personnel.
  • Guide the leadership team in developing career pathways and training programs.
  • Identify training needs and manage training programs to ensure effectiveness.
  • Promote Supply Chain interests within the broader HR function.
  • Ensure compliance with policies that foster a safe and equitable workplace.
  • Oversee performance management processes and provide guidance to management.
  • Conduct meetings with department heads to ensure timely HR support.
  • Analyze HR metrics to inform policy and program development.
  • Address employee relations issues and conduct thorough investigations.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment laws to mitigate legal risks.
  • Manage workers' compensation and leave of absence cases.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration for Supply Chain staff.
  • Implement various HR policies and assist in developing personnel procedures.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success in driving cultural change within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
  • PHR certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of employment.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR disciplines, including training, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Bilingual in English and either Spanish or Mandarin is essential.
