Position Summary

The Senior Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the recruitment, training, and engagement of our team members who deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Human Resources and will serve as both a strategic partner and a subject matter expert, influencing decisions at all organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute staffing strategies in collaboration with management.
  • Act as the representative for employee concerns in senior leadership discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and legal standards, including timely completion of necessary documentation.
  • Conduct regular audits to confirm adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Manage workforce planning to enhance capability and performance.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies tailored to specific partners.
  • Oversee onboarding and training processes for new hires.
  • Lead initiatives to boost employee engagement and retention.
  • Coach managers on key performance indicators and business insights.
  • Drive performance improvements through thorough analysis and benchmarking.
  • Ensure accurate processing of team member timesheets.
  • Facilitate a welcoming check-in experience for employees.
  • Collaborate with leadership to create and implement an employee engagement action plan.
  • Manage employee investigations and disciplinary procedures.
  • Balance strategic and operational responsibilities to execute business strategies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for union representatives, when applicable.
  • Educate and support managers in adhering to collective bargaining agreements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in the HRIS.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely processing of unemployment claims.
  • Plan team activities to meet medium-term objectives.
  • Manage employee feedback and grievance processes.
  • Oversee mandatory training compliance, such as workplace harassment prevention.
  • Work with leadership to define succession planning and development.
  • Partner with department heads to optimize labor scheduling.
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Alliance Group to manage contract retention.
  • Support sales initiatives for existing and potential partners.
  • Assist managers with employee investigations and corrective actions.
  • Analyze performance data to identify operational efficiencies.
  • Evaluate working practices to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
  • Lead change management and improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in management meetings to support governance.
  • Provide ongoing training and development for management teams.
  • Work with the Director of Human Resources to develop joint strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role is preferred.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • A passion for hospitality and retail sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
