Role Summary:

The Human Resources Partner plays a crucial role in shaping and executing human capital strategies that align with our business objectives. This position collaborates closely with the HR Director to implement initiatives that address both personnel and organizational requirements, while also aiding in the development and execution of a strategic HR People Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including conducting interviews and facilitating orientations.
  • Maintain accurate electronic employee records, including hires, terminations, and updates.
  • Provide assistance to employees regarding benefits, retirement plans, and other inquiries.
  • Guide supervisors in effectively managing employee issues and concerns.
  • Offer support and resources to employees, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
  • Disseminate essential information and materials to management and staff, including manuals and employee handbooks.
  • Collaborate with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Lead investigations into employee concerns as they arise.
  • Advise management on the progressive discipline process and counsel on employment-related matters.
  • Monitor and promote the organization's culture and values to enhance employee satisfaction and achieve company goals.
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs in the workplace to maintain visibility and engagement with employees.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety Incentive Programs, including managing incentives and recognition initiatives.
  • Administer workers' compensation claims, including injury reporting and the interactive process.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Assist in creating an internal training program that meets the company's educational needs, including onboarding and management development.
  • Maintain employee databases and assist in preparing reports for management as needed.
  • Conduct market research to inform competitive pay practices and establish pay bands that attract and retain top talent.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the HR Director.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to customer service, with attention to detail and flexibility.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational skills and a flexible schedule are essential.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and a collaborative team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) is required.
