Job Overview

Rebel Convenience Stores is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Trainee to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for learning and implementing best practices in store management, customer service, and sales support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily retail operations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee report preparation and employee scheduling to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Maintain store appearance and cleanliness to meet company standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and sales support to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize transactional equipment efficiently to minimize errors and maximize productivity.
  • Enforce cash handling procedures and security controls to prevent loss and ensure customer trust.
  • Perform inventory duties and maintain confidentiality to protect company assets.
  • Perform tasks with minimal supervision to demonstrate independence and initiative.
  • Other duties as assigned by management to support store operations and growth.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Basic math and computer skills to accurately process transactions and maintain records.
  • Physical ability to perform required tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Shift:

  • 10 hour shift to accommodate peak business periods.
  • 8 hour shift to maintain a consistent work schedule.
  • Day shift to interact with customers and manage store operations.
  • Evening shift to accommodate evening customers and manage store operations.
  • Morning shift to prepare for the day and manage store operations.
  • Night shift to maintain store security and manage store operations.

Weekly Day Range:

  • Every weekend to accommodate customer demand and manage store operations.
  • Monday to Friday to maintain a consistent work schedule.
  • Weekends as needed to accommodate customer demand and manage store operations.

Work Location:

In-person work at one of our Rebel Convenience Stores locations.
