Job Summary

As a key member of our sales team at National Guard Employment Network, the Advertising Account Executive - Sales Professional will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of local clients and agencies, with the goal of achieving established annual sales targets. This role involves analyzing market trends, developing and presenting advertising proposals, and interacting with internal departments to ensure seamless client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze market research and develop targeted advertising proposals to support client activities and products.
  • Assist in developing marketing strategies to generate local ad sales revenue.
  • Interact with internal departments to schedule advertising, monitor account activities, and manage collections.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records, and participate in sales forecasting.
  • Complete required documentation and reporting for contract processing, advertising schedules, sales calls, and expense reports.
  • Seek new customers through continuous prospecting and adherence to company sales strategies.
  • Analyze confidential information, prepare reports, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in sales or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work variable schedules, including nights and weekends, as needed.
