We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our General Merchandise team at Ibotta. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with top-tier general merchandise brands, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities- Meet and exceed annual revenue targets through the development, advancement, and closure of partnerships and execution of new businesses and expansion of existing business
- Utilize data and analytics to sell Ibotta's value proposition and lead the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation
- Develop and deliver sales presentations that educate prospective clients on Ibotta's value proposition, roadmap, and partnership opportunities
- Execute and deliver on initiatives that provide business impact beyond individual accounts
- Travel up to 40% to meet with clients and prospects
- 2-4 years of experience in a data-driven sales role
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven success breaking into and expanding enterprise accounts
- Experience selling digital, mobile, or media advertising solutions into verticals such as CPG, General Merchandise, or Retail
- Proven ability to sell into high-level leadership and navigate potential customer organizations to connect with the business owner/decision maker
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Expert negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close the deal
