Digital Advertising Sales Manager

About the Role
KAYAK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Advertising Sales Manager to join our New Business & Growth Accounts Team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing some of our largest digital advertising accounts, agency relationships, and growing new business partnerships in North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the sales pipeline across our tourism board, supplier, and OTA partnerships.
- Build strategic proposals, media plans, and presentations for advertisers based on their campaign goals and measurement objectives.
- Closely work with the Commercial team to drive results and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Actively utilize cold emailing/calling and social selling tactics to close new business.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to form and deliver practical recommendations for both advertisers and internal teams.
- Collaborate closely with account management to actively monitor performance and maintain consultative relationships with clients.
- Effectively communicate progress of campaigns to clients and internal partners.
- Work cross-functionally with internal partners to develop new ad products and process improvements.
- Contribute to team strategy and processes to drive long-term partner success.
- Evangelize KAYAK's value proposition and the power of Travel Metasearch.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of digital advertising sales experience or similar work history.
- Travel/Tourism experience preferred.
- Excels at selling new-to-market products and services.
- Advanced presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
- Goal-driven and ambitious self-starter with ability to deliver on targets without constant supervision.
- Deep understanding of the online media industry and/or travel in relation to your function, as well as more broadly.
- Good sense of humor and loves working in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.
- HUNGRY to learn/great teammate.
- Willingness to travel.
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Business preferred, but not necessary.
