Overview
Livanta LLC is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Program Manager to enhance our team.

In this role, you will be tasked with establishing and executing security protocols to safeguard our information systems, networks, and digital assets.

Your collaboration with the IT department and leadership will be crucial in pinpointing security weaknesses, evaluating risks, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
*Develop and uphold a robust cybersecurity framework to protect the organization's sensitive data and infrastructure.
*Perform regular risk evaluations to uncover potential security threats and propose effective solutions.
*Review and interpret security logs and reports to detect and address possible security incidents.
*Enforce security policies and practices to ensure the integrity of confidential information and resources.
*Design and oversee security mechanisms, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-malware solutions, and encryption technologies.
*Conduct security assessments and assist in preparations for external audits.
*Lead incident response efforts, investigate security breaches, and provide strategies for mitigation.
*Stay informed on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity to continually enhance the organization's security framework.
*Train and inform staff on best practices for cybersecurity, data protection, and incident management.
*Work with internal and external partners to address security issues, implement security standards, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, etc.) are highly preferred.
*A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a similar role within complex programs and contracts is required.
Experience should include at least two (2) of the following:
(1) Familiarity with current security tools, hardware/software security implementations, and communication protocols.
(2) Knowledge of encryption methods and tools.
*Thorough understanding of information security principles, methodologies, and best practices.
*Awareness of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, etc.).
*Experience in conducting risk assessments and applying security controls.
*Proficiency in utilizing security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to identify security weaknesses and develop effective remediation strategies.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
*Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common security objectives.
*Knowledge of incident response protocols and familiarity with forensic tools is advantageous.
