Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure and uphold the security compliance of information systems in accordance with NIST standards, federal security policies, and relevant directives.
  • Utilize Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and methodologies to perform necessary tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a field related to computer science, engineering, or a scientific discipline.
  • Possession of an active Secret Clearance.
  • Compliance with 8570 standards (Security+ CE).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT cybersecurity, including direct support for government entities, with at least 7 years in roles such as ISSO, assessor, or compliance analyst for enterprise IT systems. Alternatively, a relevant Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering with 7 years of IT cybersecurity experience and 5 years in the aforementioned roles.

Certifications:

  • At least two of the following security certifications: CAP, CISSO, CISM, or CISSP.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity with NIST guidelines and FISMA cybersecurity compliance requirements.
  • Technical expertise in complex enterprise IT systems.
  • Experience with cybersecurity and analysis tools such as Archer, Nessus Security Center, and Splunk.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of engaging with technical, non-technical, and executive-level stakeholders.

This position is integral to maintaining the security posture of our operations and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
