Our National Security Solutions team is in search of a Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist to bolster our growing portfolio within the Intelligence Community (IC).

As a collaborative member of a small, predominantly autonomous team, this role directly contributes to the development of secure enclave networks.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic guidance to management regarding risk levels and security posture.

Inform relevant leadership and the Authorizing Official about changes impacting the organization's cybersecurity stance.

Gather and maintain data necessary for compliance with system cybersecurity reporting.

Ensure that security enhancement initiatives are assessed, validated, and executed as required.

Coordinate cybersecurity inspections, tests, and evaluations for the network environment.

Integrate cybersecurity requirements into the continuity planning for each system and/or organization.

Identify alternative information security strategies to meet organizational security goals.

Assess the implications of new technologies or upgrades on the information technology (IT) security program.

Analyze patterns of noncompliance to evaluate their impact on risk levels and the overall effectiveness of the cybersecurity program.

Oversee the monitoring of information security data sources to maintain organizational situational awareness.

Engage in an information security risk assessment during the Security Assessment and Authorization process.

Contribute to the development or modification of the cybersecurity program plans and requirements for the system/network environment.

Recognize potential security violations and take appropriate action to report incidents as necessary.

Supervise or manage protective or corrective measures when a cybersecurity incident or vulnerability is identified.

Track audit findings and recommendations to ensure appropriate mitigation actions are implemented.

Oversee policy standards and implementation strategies to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies.

Identify security requirements specific to an information technology (IT) system throughout all phases of the system life cycle.


Ensure that plans of action and milestones or remediation plans are established for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.

Support essential compliance activities, e.g.

ensure adherence to system security configuration guidelines, compliance with secure enterprise (STE) and secure network (STN) requirements.


Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 2 years of experience, OR

High school diploma with 4 years of experience

Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 4 years of experience, OR

High school diploma with 8 years of experience

Familiarity with Windows, Linux, VMware, Cisco IOS, and PAN-OS

Active DoD IAT Level II certification

Demonstrated cyber/IT-related experience with a focus on detail, customer service, effective communication, and problem-solving.
