The Cybersecurity Risk Evaluator plays a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of security assessments. This position involves overseeing the assessment phase, providing support to fellow assessors, and managing administrative tasks while the technical team focuses on in-depth evaluations.

Cybersecurity Risk Evaluators are tasked with:

*Leading comprehensive security assessments, including defining the scope, timeline, and necessary resources.
*Assembling and supervising the assessment team to ensure optimal performance.
*Overseeing the creation and distribution of all assessment-related communications, documents, and deliverables, ensuring they meet established standards for clarity, accuracy, and quality.
*Delivering successful outcomes for all assessments conducted.

Essential Qualifications:
*Possession of at least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, or SANS GSNA.
*Qualified to execute security assessment activities relevant to assigned roles.
*Ability to obtain Security/Suitability Clearance of Level 6 (PT6).
*Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the Information Security or Cybersecurity domain.
*Proven experience in conducting security evaluations under established frameworks for federal agencies.
*In-depth knowledge of applicable security standards, policies, and methodologies.
*Technical expertise across various technologies, network devices, and software to effectively address potential vulnerabilities.
*Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical topics clearly in both written and verbal formats, ensuring all outputs meet quality standards.
*General understanding of security risk assessment methodologies.
*Proficiency in essential communication skills in English.
