RESPONSIBILITIES

The HR Shared Services Global Process Owner (GPO) is tasked with leading the standardization of global Hire to Retire processes, enhancing transactional efficiency, building organizational capability, and establishing a prioritized roadmap for all global HR processes in collaboration with HR leadership. This role involves analyzing policies with policy owners, streamlining processes to support these policies, and setting key performance indicators for global HR operations. The GPO specializes in delivering value through process oversight, enhancement, and integration to ensure consistent and effective service delivery, focusing on process efficiencies and cost reduction. Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing the Hire to Retire process (including process mapping), monitoring, and improving processes; responsible for mapping the process, defining requirements, identifying improvement areas, implementing initiatives, and measuring outcomes with the HRSS Continuous Improvement team.
  • Ensuring processes are leaner, more efficient, and cost-effective.
  • Creating process maps, workflows, standard operating procedures, reports, and HRSS business case documents.
  • Being recognized as the 'go-to' expert within and across the HR function, ensuring no process changes occur without GPO engagement.
  • Developing best-in-class, standardized processes that provide a competitive advantage.
  • Monitoring user compliance and tracking adherence to required processes.
  • Ensuring KPIs are in the top quartile of metrics.
  • Supporting system implementation/enhancement initiatives impacting HR processes.
  • Conducting timely root cause analysis to identify problem drivers and implement necessary corrections or changes.
  • Identifying and driving process automation, including robotics, within the process area.
  • Collaborating with HR functions and service delivery teams to identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements for better business outcomes.
  • Establishing and maintaining process change control for all HR processes.
  • Providing HR process expertise for shared service migrations and business integrations, including M&A activities.
  • Building and maintaining partnerships with technology partners in the workstream.
  • Creating a prioritized, metric-driven pipeline of process-related improvements and opportunities, along with an associated governance model, serving as a liaison between technical and HR resources to reduce process costs, enhance efficiency, and improve user experience.
  • Developing business cases to quantify the cost and value of process opportunities and advocating for necessary funding.
  • Identifying gaps between global and regional processes with a clear plan to address these gaps while accommodating legal and regulatory variances.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related business field; a graduate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Over 4 years of experience in human resources and/or shared services operations, with a comprehensive understanding and expertise in HR end-to-end process design and management, particularly with Oracle HCM.
  • Experience in transformation and process design, preferably with the Oracle HCM system.
  • Knowledge of process mapping and subject matter expertise.
  • Required program and project management experience.
