RESPONSIBILITIES

The HR Shared Services Global Process Owner (GPO) is tasked with steering the global Hire to Retire process standardization, enhancing transactional efficiency, organizational capability, process performance, and a prioritized roadmap for all global HR processes in collaboration with HR leadership. This role involves analyzing policies with policy owners, streamlining processes to support these policies, and establishing key performance indicators for global HR processes. The GPO specializes in delivering value through process oversight, enhancement, and integration to ensure consistent and successful service delivery, focusing on process efficiencies and cost reduction. Additionally, the GPO oversees an end-to-end process across functional silos and geographic boundaries.
  • Design of the Hire to Retire process (including process mapping), process monitoring, and improvement initiatives; responsible for mapping the process, defining the necessary steps, identifying key improvement areas, implementing initiatives, and monitoring these efforts with the HRSS Continuous Improvement team.
  • Ensure the process is streamlined, efficient, and cost-effective.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, standard operating procedures, reports, and HRSS business case documents.
  • Recognized as the 'go-to' expert within and across the HR function, ensuring that no process change occurs without the GPO's involvement.
  • Establish best-in-class, standardized processes that provide a competitive advantage.
  • Monitor user compliance, tracking adherence to the required processes.
  • Ensure that KPIs are within the top quartile of metrics.
  • Support system implementation/enhancement initiatives impacting HR processes.
  • Conduct timely root cause analysis to identify problem drivers and implement necessary corrections or changes.
  • Identify and promote process automation, including robotics, within the process area.
  • Collaborate with HR functions and service delivery teams to identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements for better business outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain process change control for all HR processes.
  • Provide HR process expertise for shared service migrations and business integrations, including M&A activities.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with technology partners in the workstream.
  • Create a prioritized, metric-driven pipeline of process-related improvements and opportunities, with an associated governance model, serving as a liaison between technical and HR resources to reduce process costs, enhance efficiency, and improve user experience.
  • Develop business cases to quantify the cost and value of process opportunities and advocate for necessary funding.
  • Identify gaps between global and regional processes with a clear plan to address these gaps while accommodating legal and regulatory variances.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or a business-related field; a graduate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources and/or shared services operations, with a thorough understanding and subject matter expertise in HR end-to-end process design and management, as well as demonstrated expertise with Oracle HCM.
  • Experience in transformation and process design, preferably with the Oracle HCM system.
  • Knowledge of process mapping and subject matter expertise.
  • Required program and project management experience.
