Position Summary

The Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. This position involves managing check-in and check-out processes, operating kiosks, and handling various guest transactions with a focus on maintaining high standards of service and presentation.

Work Schedule

We are looking for candidates with both full-time and part-time availability, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warmly greet and welcome every guest upon arrival.
  • Efficiently register guests, confirming reservations and verifying personal and payment information.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in kiosk operations and assist guests as needed.
  • Handle all incoming calls professionally and courteously.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of hotel amenities and the surrounding area.
  • Process payments during registration and at checkout, ensuring accuracy.
  • Manage a house bank and provide daily reports of receipts.
  • Facilitate retail transactions and maintain cleanliness in retail areas.
  • Issue luggage claims and assist with guest luggage as requested.
  • Uphold the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and overall ambiance.
  • Address guest complaints respectfully and efficiently.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality or high-end retail.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience with Hilton/OnQ systems is highly desirable.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet navigation.
  • A strong alignment with the mission and values of Sherman Associates.
  • Availability may vary based on hotel needs.
