Job Summary

We are seeking a Guest Service Associate to join our team at JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America. As a Guest Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort guests to their rooms, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property, providing directions and information as needed.
  • Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, highlighting the unique features of our hotel.
  • Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and/or designated bell area, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
  • Assist with luggage storage and retrieval, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
  • Supply guests with directions, providing clear and concise information to help them navigate our property and surrounding area.
  • Arrange transportation (e.g., taxicab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, recording advance transportation requests as needed.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors, ensuring they are aware of our parking policies and options.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional service to guests while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
