Position Overview

The Marketing Operations Specialist role is essential in providing comprehensive marketing, graphic design, and administrative support to commercial real estate professionals within the Capital Markets Group. This position is responsible for implementing both corporate marketing strategies and localized initiatives. Additionally, this role serves as the primary contact for graphic design and analytical underwriting of marketing materials for the San Diego team, which operates remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Graphic Design

  • Ensure all marketing communications, presentations, and materials align with the SRS brand and adhere to established corporate guidelines.
  • Develop print and digital marketing packages for property listings.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns for property promotions.
  • Create and manage various marketing presentations and collateral.
  • Maintain and update property listings and client databases on relevant platforms.
  • Oversee and segment contact databases and email distribution lists.
  • Support research analysts in creating market aerial maps and conducting demographic research.
  • Assist in preparing documentation related to property listings, including reports and press releases.
  • Utilize Apto (Salesforce-based software) to help brokers track their listings and business development efforts.
  • Manage local office social media accounts to uphold brand standards and enhance engagement.

Analytics

  • Collaborate with the Analyst team to integrate financial discipline into marketing materials.
  • Prepare commercial real estate sales packages for presentations to brokers and clients.
  • Represent SRS to both internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries regarding properties and the commercial real estate market.
  • Coordinate data regarding market trends, occupancy rates, and comparable properties.
  • Understand basic financial summaries for active listings.
  • Organize and present data analysis with actionable recommendations.

Office Management

  • Perform general office management tasks, including greeting visitors and managing office traffic.
  • Act as the primary contact for office vendors and suppliers.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.

Qualifications

  • Team-oriented with a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of commercial real estate is required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in marketing, graphic design, advertising, finance, or business.
  • Experience with financial modeling and reporting is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong grammar skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in email marketing, public relations, social media, and database management is preferred.
