Business Development Representative

Your Role at JoltAs an Account Executive, your primary responsibility is to close deals with new customers. We prioritize placing you in strategic teams where you can excel based on your background and experience.
Your day will be spent meeting with prospective customers in the hospitality, retail, or food and beverage industry through phone, emails, and videos to demonstrate the benefits of Jolt for their specific business. You will be responsible for replenishing your pipeline through your own prospecting efforts and following up with inbound leads set up by our Sales Development Representatives.
Your skills in lead generation, follow-up, asking probing questions, and closing will enable you to succeed and thrive here at Jolt.
Main Responsibilities:- Pursue Strategic Brands: You will work to understand the challenges, goals, and buying processes of brands within your geographical territory and leverage this information to become familiar with their operations, decision-makers, and methods of doing business.
- Hunt for Opportunities: You will identify opportunities where Jolt will be a great fit and work to expand Jolt following successful proofs of concept. In all prospecting efforts, you will prioritize opportunities with the highest ROI and best fit.
- Attend Industry Events: You will attend customer trade shows, presentation meetings at HQ, regional meetings, and other brand events where relationships can be built.
- Provide Feedback: You will relay feedback from customers to engineering and other functional areas in an accurate and timely manner so they can prioritize the right tasks.
- Become a Platform Expert: You will become an expert of the Jolt platform to convey its true value with customers.
The estimated salary range for this role is $65,000 - $140,000 per year, with opportunities for leveling up and uncapped commissions.
Required Skills and Qualifications- AE experience, preferably in the SAAS environment.
- Must be able to work on-site M-F in Lehi.
- Industry knowledge working with or in the following industries: Hospitality, Food and Beverage, or Retail is a plus.
- Experience as an SDR/BDR in the SAAS environment is a plus.
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
