We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our financial management team, you will play a crucial role in driving our financial success and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee all aspects of manufacturing accounting, including cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
  • Manage the preparation of the company's budget and financial forecasts, implementing and streamlining effective budgeting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide management with definitive financial data and advice for their use in setting and realizing profit objectives.
  • Oversee and manage the general ledger.
  • Play a key role in the company's financial management, including all account reconciliations and reporting.
  • Drive process improvements in the accounting department, leveraging technology and systems to automate functions.
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the technology or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in managing a team.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application.
  • Experience with e-commerce and inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
