Job Summary

Kennebec Pharmacy & Home Care is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Correspondence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle Team, you will be responsible for processing incoming correspondence, responding to customer inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily mail, batching, and faxes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, providing solutions and resolving issues in a timely fashion.
  • Efficiently process and data enter assigned claim files and claim payments, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide support to internal teams as needed, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Manage a heavy and active caseload, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including customer information and correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers, providing regular communication and follow-up as needed.
  • Access and utilize our claims system, generating loss runs and claim reports as requested.
  • Handle all phases of customer inquiries received by telephone or correspondence, providing solutions and resolving issues in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for inventory management, including ordering and maintaining office supplies.
  • Timely notification of problems to Supervisor/Manager.
  • Ensure all addresses with payers and third-party companies are updated and accurate.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Able to coordinate multiple tasks for multiple customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • MS Office skills and knowledge of billing and collections a plus.
