Key Responsibilities:
The initial patient interaction occurs in our call center. In this role, you will primarily engage with patients over the phone:
directing calls to the appropriate personnel, scheduling appointments while ensuring accurate patient demographic and insurance details are recorded in the electronic medical records (EMR), and acting as a communication bridge between physicians and referring facilities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We seek a personable individual with exceptional communication and customer service abilities, who is reliable, detail-oriented, and proficient with computers. The candidate should be capable of multitasking and adhering to all organizational policies. Must be trainable and able to work without a cellphone in hand.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients over the phone
- Proficient in computer usage, strong data entry skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Prior experience in customer service
- Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Punctual and reliable
- Capability to remain seated at a desk and converse on the phone for extended periods
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
