Clinical Liaison Role at Next Step Healthcare

Next Step Healthcare is seeking a committed Clinical Liaison to enhance our team. This role focuses on managing patient referrals, particularly during weekends, and is crucial for expanding and nurturing your assigned territory for admissions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Discover and pursue new referral avenues.
  • Serve as a key connection between healthcare facilities and referral sources.
  • Effectively convert referrals into new resident admissions.
  • Engage in community outreach to build and maintain relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with facility teams to streamline the admissions process.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of admission paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Healthcare Sales and Marketing is essential.
  • A valid RN or LPN license in Massachusetts is required.
  • Ideally, candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • A background in long-term care or skilled nursing is advantageous.
  • Experience in healthcare sales, clinical liaison roles, long-term care nursing, or case management is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with discharge planners and Insurance Case Managers are necessary.
  • Familiarity with various insurance frameworks, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care insurance, is beneficial.
