Job Description

Xometry, a leading digital marketplace, powers the growth of manufacturing businesses by connecting them with buyers at Fortune 1000 companies. Our platform provides critical resources for manufacturers to scale their business, while also making it easy for buyers to tap into global manufacturing capacity.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and scheduling meetings for the Business Development Team. You will work with a high-performance culture and be excited about a career in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through strategic outreach and relationship-building
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to penetrate key accounts and expand our customer base
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members to develop and implement sales approaches
  • Ensure successful follow-through of sales cycles by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 0-2+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably in outbound sales or new business development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships quickly
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience using CRM software and other sales tools preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
