- Closing Sales Opportunities
Closing sales opportunities by demonstrating and documenting value during a proof of concept (POC), in concert with sales engineers.
Leading Sales CallsLeading effective sales calls for prospects via Zoom and onsite, using Sandler and Force Management sales methodologies.
Territory ManagementManaging a named account or geographic territory and accurately forecasting pipelines using MEDDPICC.
Self-Sourcing OpportunitiesSelf-sourcing potential new sales opportunities in collaboration with marketing and alliance partners.
Industry ResearchContinuous learning about cloud and DevOps to understand industry trends, client pain points, and related client success stories.
Client ResearchResearching client's relevant business initiatives, key players, and technologies utilized/considered.
PartnershipsTeaming with AWS sales reps and partner teams to accelerate deals gain pipeline leverage.
Requirements
- Experience
3+ years of relevant closing experience in the Cloud or DevOps space, specifically within a SaaS software startup environment.
Track RecordTrack record of consistently achieving quota and outperforming your peers.
Industry KnowledgeUnderstanding of AWS and DevOps practices.
Technical SkillsProficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools such as G-Suite/Office, SalesForce, Zoom, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Communication SkillsArticulate, thoughtful, and inspiring in client interactions via phone, email, social channels, and events.
Time ManagementAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a transformative and fast-paced SaaS software startup environment.
EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
