The Client Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in steering commercial oversight and fostering business expansion for the current clientele of Trans-Matic Mfg Inc. This position also entails the exploration of new products, clients, and market opportunities that resonate with Trans-Matic's strategic objectives to achieve both client satisfaction and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate, establish, and nurture relationships across various levels (engineering, procurement, and executive leadership).
  • Assume accountability for commercial oversight, management, and business development efforts with designated client accounts.
  • Gather market pricing insights and respond appropriately for both new and ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with the finance department on any DCF or ROI assessments.
  • Investigate quotations, work in tandem with colleagues, and engage with clients.
  • Negotiate known production challenges with clients prior to the receipt of new purchase orders and during project initiation meetings.
  • Coordinate international efforts for assigned accounts with Trans-Matic team members across all global locations.
  • Discover new products and markets that align with Trans-Matic's strategic goals through proactive outreach, business development initiatives, and participation in trade exhibitions.
  • Identify Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) opportunities with both current and potential clients.
  • Travel globally as required to support both assigned clients and business development efforts.
  • Offer account-specific guidance and technical mentorship to sales engineers.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven commercial sales experience.
  • Familiarity with deep draw manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • A proactive approach to cold calling and seeking new business opportunities (hunter mentality).
  • Technical acumen to provide clients with product and design guidance focused on the characteristics of the deep draw process.
  • Proficient contract management and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are imperative.
