The Stow Company is on the lookout for qualified individuals to join our Easy Closets team as a Customer Service Representative. We pride ourselves on being the leading provider of custom closets and organizational solutions, crafted and shipped directly from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, your primary role will be to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by assisting clients post-sale. Your responsibilities will include:
- Addressing customer inquiries regarding shipping timelines, product components, designs, and installation.
- Engaging with customers frequently via phone and email.
- Providing prompt responses to messages and calls.
- Processing customer service and parts orders efficiently.
- Guiding customers through complex installation processes.
- Resolving customer issues and complaints effectively.
- Compiling and submitting daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Escalating challenging customer inquiries to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.
- Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the product line and reporting any irregularities to management.
- Interacting with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Upholding the company’s values consistently.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
1-3 years of experience in customer service or related fields.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Successful candidates will possess:
- A solid understanding of spatial relationships, mathematics, fractions, and decimals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for professional negotiation.
- A positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
- The ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Intermediate computer skills, particularly with MS Office applications.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Work Environment
This position involves:
- Approximately 80% of work time spent sitting at a workstation.
- About 20% of work time involving standing and walking.
- Traveling between different work locations as needed.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
- Flexibility to work overtime or adjust schedules as required.
The Stow Company may assign team members to different duties as necessary based on specific requirements and available personnel. Management will determine the nature and duration of these assignments.
