Job Overview
Fogg, a premier innovator in the design and production of filling, rinsing, capping, and enclosure systems for liquid products, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative. This role is pivotal in managing various service projects focused on Fogg's product offerings. The representative will be responsible for the planning, organization, scheduling, and execution of field service installations globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently coordinate and dispatch products and services necessary for the installation, repair, or replacement of Fogg equipment at customer sites.
- Ensure a customer-centric approach to achieve complete satisfaction.
- Maintain and monitor the service calendar to oversee service contracts and schedule service trips while optimizing factory productivity.
- Be available for after-hours on-call duties, with a commitment to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Travel to provide startup assistance for new installations, requiring a valid passport.
- Prepare documentation and work orders for parts fabrication, ensuring timely follow-up on additional parts shipments.
- Document parts used during service trips for inventory and billing, including all service and warranty requests.
- Conduct debriefings with the Service Manager or Director of Sales & Marketing post-service trips to discuss sales opportunities and market trends.
- Collaborate with Engineering to design specialized items necessary for order completion.
- Prepare estimates and training materials as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A high school diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills in welding, parts fabrication, machinery installation, and conveyor systems.
- A working knowledge of plumbing and electrical components.
- The ability to travel at least 15% of the work year.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain good physical condition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CAD and computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
