Job Title: Regional Sales Manager, Surgical Pain

Avanos Medical is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing a high-performing sales team in the Northeast region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach and develop a team of sales professionals to execute revenue goals and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement territory business plans to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Proactively communicate with the sales team to assess sales leads and performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Conduct field ride-along visits to provide coaching and feedback to sales representatives.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, including sales results, best practices, risks, and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with marketing and senior sales management to identify and address regional business challenges.
  • Recruit, screen, and hire sales personnel for the defined region of responsibility.
  • Oversee the execution of contract strategy for the region, including individual accounts and local buying groups.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate sales representatives on healthcare compliance, quality, and regulatory rules and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in medical device sales management, with a proven track record of accomplishment.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to coach and develop talent.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite applications.
  • Extensive in-field travel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical device sales experience preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the medical device industry preferred.
  • Experience with orthopedics and/or surgical specialties is preferred.
