Civil CAD Designer for Land Development Projects

Absolute Engineering, Inc. is seeking a skilled Civil CAD Designer to contribute to our dynamic team of engineers.

As a key member of the design team, you will play a vital role in developing innovative and sustainable solutions for a diverse range of land development projects throughout Central Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed construction drawings and plans for various land development projects, including residential subdivisions, commercial complexes, and mixed-use developments.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and other disciplines to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Design and implement comprehensive site grading plans, erosion control measures, sanitary sewer systems, water distribution networks, storm drainage systems, and roadways.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of all design documents to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges and propose creative solutions to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the civil engineering field with a strong understanding of land development principles and practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and WaterCAD software. Experience with Civil 3D and ArcGIS is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
