Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Land/Site Development Department in Tampa, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for independently performing land development engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare due diligence studies and site planning
  • Design grading/drainage, water/wastewater systems, stormwater detention facilities
  • Obtain permitting for construction documents and reports
  • Collaborate with team members, local review agencies, and clients
  • Civil engineering land development, infrastructure design, and construction document preparation for roads, parking areas, storm drainage systems, stormwater management facilities, utilities-water mains, sanitary sewers, sediment, and erosion control, and outline specifications

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a PE in Florida
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading, alignments, profiles, corridors, earthwork, and experience with pipe networks, detention, storm sewer design
  • Understanding of local and state agency codes and ordinances relevant to the construction plan approval process
